Salvage Network will complete most valuations within a twenty four (24) hours turnaround time during normal business hours.
This is subject to whether we deem there to be a requirement for physical inspection.
Physical Inspections
Physical inspections are usually executed within 48 hours within metropolitan areas, subject to notification of location and access to the item during normal business hours.
Individual Valuation
Each valuation by Salvage Network is an individual valuation for that vehicle. This has a significant advantage over the generic automotive pricing books which, by necessity are averages, relying on dated and general data.
Guarantee
Every salvage valuation that Salvage Network provides to insurers is backed by our guarantee to acquire the vehicle at its Purchase Offer within 21 days of valuation.
Insurers or their customers have no obligation to accept Salvage Network's guarantee. They can use the prior accident value and/or Purchase Offer for insurance payout pricing or comparative purposes, retain, repair or scrap the vehicle independently.
When Salvage Network proceeds to buy the vehicle under its guarantee, it also covers the cost of the last leg towing (from repairer or other location to Salvage Network) and agrees to store the vehicle until title has been cleared. This can amount to a significant saving, sometimes greater than the value of the vehicle itself.
Salvage Network issues payment of the salvage valuation when it receives:
- physical possession and/or control of the vehicle
- its standard form of Agreement of Sale and Disclosure Formsduly signed by the owner
- clear title of the vehicle
- notification that there are no storage or towing moneys owed
- insurance company sign-off
Salvage Network offers to provide expert witness testimony in court proceedings related to the vehicles it values, subject to reasonable notice of appearance dates and agreement on appearance fees.
